Committee Assignments:

House Committee on Financial Services

As a member of the House Committee on Financial Services, Congressman Campbell oversees the entire financial services industry.  This includes industry areas such as securities, insurance, housing, and banking.  The committee also has an oversight function over the United States Department of Treasury, United States Federal Reserve, and the United States Security and Exchange Commission.

House Committee on the Budget

In addition to serving on the House Committee on Financial Services, Congressman Campbell is a member of the House Committee on the Budget.  The House Committee on the Budget is one of the House of Representative's standing committees.  In this capacity, the committee is responsible for Congressional oversight of the federal budgetary process.  The primary function of the committee is the drafting and preparation of the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget.

Joint Economic Committee

The Joint Economic Committee is a bicameral Congressional Committee composed of ten members from each the Senate and the House of Representatives.  The JEC was established by the Employment Act of 1946 (Public Law 304).  Its main purpose is to make a continuing study of matters relating to the US economy.  The Committee holds hearings, performs research and advises Members of Congress.
